Train With Roadrunners. Wherever You Live.
Roadrunner Junior Club welcomes remote athletes who want to be part of the team, follow a structured training plan, compete with Roadrunners, and stay connected to a community of motivated runners.
Remote athletes can join Roadrunners throughout the season and participate in person whenever their schedule and location allow. Whether you train with us every week or live hours away, you can be part of the Roadrunner team.
As a Roadrunner Junior Club athlete, you will receive:
Roadrunner team training through RSLTS.run
A Roadrunner uniform
A Roadrunner backpack
A Roadrunner practice shirt
Opportunities to attend in-person Roadrunner practices and access to Roadrunner summer training.
Opportunities to compete in track and cross-country races wherever the Roadrunner team is competing
Your RSLTS.run training plan allows you to follow the Roadrunner program from wherever you train while still being prepared to race with the team when you are able to join.
Roadrunner athletes can earn a Varsity Jersey by meeting the team’s performance standard in an official race, including common marks for boys / girls:
800m: 2:51.45 (boys) / 3:16.48 (girls)
1500m: 6:01.73 / 6:58.75 for 1500m
Mile: 6:30.00 / 7:30.00
These standards are intentionally challenging, and most athletes need years of consistent training and natural physical development, often into middle school, before they are ready to reach them. We also recognize athletes who are making meaningful progress but have not yet met the standard.
Once you join, we will get you connected with the team, your training plan, and information about receiving your Roadrunner gear.
